A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows employees to pay for medical and dependent care expenses using pre-tax dollars. The HealthJibe HEA supports the following FSA options:

  • Health FSA covers IRS-approved medical expenses (Section 213(d) medical expenses)

  • Limited Purpose FSA that covers vision and dental expenses only when a participant indicates that their HealthJibe Account is Health Savings Account (HSA) compatible

  • Dependent Care FSA covers employees' dependent care expenses while they work

Note: a health FSA is not available with a QSEHRA.
